Comprehensive burial options

Every person and every family has individual ideas and wishes when it comes to their final resting place. We offer a variety of burial options that are tailored to your personal preferences. Here you will find a brief overview of the three most common burial options: burial, cremation and burial at sea.

Burial (coffin burial)

Burial, also known as coffin burial, is the most traditional form of burial. The deceased is buried in a coffin in a cemetery. This place serves as a permanent place of remembrance for relatives and friends. The costs for burial are higher than for cremation because a larger place of remembrance is created.

Cremation (urn burial)

In cremation, the deceased is first cremated and the ashes are then buried in an urn. This can take place either in a cemetery or in a special burial forest. Urn burial is less expensive and requires less maintenance than the burial with coffin. There are various options for burial, such as in a columbarium or in an urn grave.

Sea burial (sea burial)

Sea burial is a special form of burial in which the ashes of the deceased are given to the sea in a water-soluble urn. This usually takes place in the North or Baltic Sea. There is no permanent memorial, but the GPS coordinates of the burial site are recorded so that relatives know where the ashes were scattered. Sea burial is a type of burial that is close to nature and requires no maintenance and has no follow-up costs.

We have a comprehensive range of coffins, urns, funeral linen, decorations and furnishings from numerous German, European and international manufacturers. If you cannot find what you are looking for in our showrooms, we can order one of the many catalogue offers for you at short notice.

Transport & Transfers

We can offer you initial recovery, transport and national and international transfers by car, plane, train, ship or horse-drawn carriage at any time with our own vehicle fleet and in cooperation with our partners.

With the certified thanatopractice practitioner Fabian Lenzen, we can offer you the embalming required for many international repatriations as an in-house service.

Passenger transport

In addition to transporting the deceased, we can also offer to chauffeur you and your family from your home to the cemetery, for example, with employees who have a passenger transport license and our minibus.

Lasting memories

With death masks and fingerprints, which we take in our own house and have a sculptor create a positive image, we offer you a lasting memory of your loved one. The deceased is not harmed in the process and even after the mask has been removed, there is still the option of saying your goodbyes at the open coffin if you wish.

Thanatopraxia

Saying goodbye at an open coffin can be particularly important if, for example, a person has had an accident. With the possibilities of thanatopraxia, we can often still make it possible to say your goodbyes in such cases.

Formalities & Support

We will advise you on all questions in the event of a bereavement and take as much work off your hands as possible. We will be happy to take care of all the formalities associated with a death that you do not have to deal with personally for legal reasons. This includes, for example, reporting to the registry office to obtain the death certificate, the German pension insurance company, the health insurance company, the church community and, of course, the cemetery and the crematorium. Estate, apartment clearance & funeral planning

In addition to carrying out funerals in current death cases, we also offer you the option of making funeral arrangementsand providing financial security for them.

With the inheritance guide , we offer you a digital way to handle all your inheritance matters online or to prepare them as part of a precautionary measure. If you would prefer to discuss the subject of inheritance in person with a relevant specialist lawyer or notary, we would be glad to put you in touch with them on request.

When someone passes, it is often necessary to clear out an apartment. If you do not want to do this yourself, we will gladly put you in touch with a suitable service provider.

Digital legacy service

In cooperation with our partner Columba, we now also offer you a so-called digital legacy service. At your request, we commission the company Columba to search the Internet for entries and, above all, accounts and subscriptions of your deceased relative, thus protecting you from liabilities and asserting possible claims.
